ABOUT US​

Commonwealth Infrared, LLC was established in 2021 by Robert Whitaker III.  Robert earned a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering Technology with a Minor in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University.  Over the years, Robert has gained experience in design, construction inspection, and construction engineering of civil infrastructure working in local government with Public Works and Public Utilities.  With his background, he understands clients needs and expertly navigates them through the infrared restoration process.

Commonwealth Infrared provides an asphalt repair and restoration process unique from the majority of asphalt repair services offered in the state of Virginia.  We utilize specialized equipment designed to perform infrared asphalt restoration.  This technology allows for year round asphalt pavement restoration and is more durable, less expensive, and longer lasting than conventional techniques.

Our restoration process is a localized surface recycling technique.  This technology provides an effective remedial method in repairing potholes, utility cuts, local depressions, limited extent cracking, and other localized pavement defects.
